Sažetak
Tourism in Croatia is of extreme importance for the economic adevelopment of country. In this context, the development of tourism is supported by applying various credits programs, which have so far proven successful and have had positive effects on Croation economy. Subsidizes crediting is performed through direct cooperation between the commercial bank and the relevant ministry or through the Croatian Bankfor Reconstruction and Development. A survey has shown that the banking system in Croatia largely participates in subsidized crediting, in which process they grant loans under more favorable conditions than those available on the market. The survay also revealed that commercial tourism credits account for only 8% of all credits on the market. Most tourism credits have been realized in the coastal region, which minimizes the significance of mailand Croatia in the overall development of tourism.
