Author reconstructs development of the institutions and programmes of legal education in the Croatian regions to 1918 with a special attention payed to the transfer of ideas and organizational models. Author indicates channels and directions of the influences from the medieval times to the 19th century as well as specificities of reception of the transferred legal ideas in the Croatian regions.
