Sažetak
The Adriatic islands are emerging sections of the Outer Dinarides mountain range, part of the Alpine-Himalayan system. The evolution and development of meso- and macroforms of the mountain range has been controlled by the compression tectonics, marked by shearing, retrograde rotation in very recent tectonically active periods. Retrograde rotation occurs along reverse faults linearly elongated structures rectilinear fault routes of NW-SE direction developed.
