Sažetak
In Croatia the production and distribution of mineral fertilizers is related to one producer which increases this producer’ s significance, and logistic advantages and commercial conditions allow the dominant role of a market leader. In the globalization process this forms an important part of the European logistic system. Constant care for the improvement of the production processes, warehousing, packaging and distribution includes implementation of new knowledge and technologies in accordance with the market requirements and scientific knowledge. The selection of the optimal logistic processes and the most favourable way of dispatch or delivery with the implementation of advanced technologies, allows fast and safe distribution and reduction of handling, transport and other costs in relation to the classical technologies. The paper analyses the distribution of mineral fertilizers per fields, share of individual types of transport as well as the selection of the packaging method in accordance with the market requirements and advanced transport technologies.
