Sažetak
Transient behaviour of a thin wire located horizontally above perfectly conductive ground plane is analyzed directly in the time domain in accordance to the theory of images. The problem is formulated via the corresponding time domain Hallen integral equation. Applying the space time finite element procedure for handling the Hallen equation the current, flowing on a thin wire antenna or scaterrer, is obtained. The known current distribution along the wire also provides the far field evaluation.
