Sažetak
Basic geomorphological, ethnohistorical, demographic and linguistic data on the population of the Island of Krk are presented. They show the most important population movements to the island that affected its population structure in the past. The linguistic results obtained confirm the suitability of the population of the island of Krk for the study of human microevolution.
