Sažetak
A new Meshless Local Petrov-Galerkin (MLPG) mixed formulation is applied to analysis of thin plates. The strains, stresses and displacements are approximated independently. The discretized governing equations are derived with only nodal displacements as unknown variables. The thickness and shear locking effects are completely eliminated. the proposed formulation is more efficient then the fully displacement approach.
