Sažetak
Due to an increased number of demands for innovative design and products' competitiveness on the market, today the wood processing industry and other associated industries are faced with the need to create new products solutions. New materials and technologies are being researches, and one of the world’ s largest new fields of research has cross-disciplinary linked the wood processing and plastic industry. The work refers to new findings regarding the technical characteristic and possibility of using wood-plastic composites (WPC). The possibilities of application of these materials have been tested on the example of school furniture. Input design parameters of the new formative-construction solutions, which might contain wood-plastic composites, have been analyzed.
