Sažetak
Measurement of comfort is one of the greatest challenges in ergonomic research since this is exclusively a subjective feeling and it is hard to express it quantitatively. The ErgoCheck© ; Chair system enables the measurement of pressures and their distribution during sitting on various pads (seats and seat backs), and thus facilitates the research and development of products, their ergonomic and anthropometric valorisation, individual adjustment to the user as well as interpretation and analysis of expected and/or obtained results. Measurements have been performed on three chair models with different constructions of seats (framed net, cold-cast PU foam and cut PU foam) so that the total of ten examinees were sitting on a chair covered with a measuring pad. The results have been analysed considering anthropometric characteristics of the examinees and the seat construction, and have been compared with the results of subjective research on the same seat construction.
