Sažetak
As a part of the projects "Professional and neurological voice disorders", the voice of 300 vocal professionals and 100 controls has been assessed in order to exemine the problem of occupational voice disorders in Croatia. A self-assessment questionnaire was constructed to assessvocal fatigue and the acoustic analysis of the digital recordings of reading and sustained phonation was carried out by using MDVP (Key Elemetrics). Obteined results showed that the incidence of voice problems is more that two times higher among vocal professionals than among than control. Generally, female subjects expirienced more voice problems than male subjects did. among vocal professionals, the subgroup of kondergarten teachers expressed highest number of voice complaints.
