Sažetak
The basis has given for application of CAD and CAM in the process of design and production of the circular milling cutters for spline machining. By applying numerically controlled machine tools necessity of milling cutters producing by special machine tools for relieving is avoided. By means of mathematical modelling of the form and edge geometry of circular spline cutters-backed off for circular spline manufacturing one can derive basis for optimization parameters of form and geometry influencing to the tools cutting characteristics.
