Sažetak
Building a computational grid by non-dedicated resources is based on overdimensioned static performance and dynamic underloading of machines. Along the characteristics of platform, application and mapping, efficiency and availability of such a distributed environment significantly depend on resource owner/service user, i.e. a human. The developed DnD Grid system creates a ranking list of owners/users and their resources and puts them in a cooperative and competitive position. Parameters of the established environment are monitored during application execution. This procedure enables improvement of system performance by exclusion of weak and engagement of better resources and owners/users. Experimental results obtained in a simplified industrial environment show that the proposed approach can significantly improve environment performance, as well as application execution time and load balancing.
