Sažetak
Color Doppler imaging allows simultaneous two-dimensional high resolution imaging of ocular structures and accurate color coded blood flow in small vessels. It is currently used in ophthalmology to evaluate orbital and intraocular tumors, vascular lessions, and carotid cavernous sinus fistulas. The method is used to detect hemodynamic changes in the central retinal artery and vein, posterior cilliary arteries and ophthalmic artery.Color doppler imaging was found to be usefull as a supplementary noninvasive method.
