Sažetak
The syntheses of new compounds derived from isatin and 5– nitroisatin by Mannich's reaction are described. Some of the products were alternatively prepared from 1– chloromethylisatin with a secondary amine. Among the compounds synthesized, those containing N– bis(2– chloroethyl) amino or N– bis(2– hydroxyethyl) amino groups possess considerable mitodepressant activity.
