Sažetak
Since the reservoir is shallow, there is as yet no considerable oxygen deficit, and oxygen hypersaturation is often pronounced. There are not many organotrophyc bacteria in reservoir. The number caracterizes water of the first and secons class levelsf water bonity, but indicates that Ponikve has already become a mesotrophic stagnant water. The relatively large number of hydrogen sulphide producing bacteria in the reservoir is noe ecologically alarming because high concentration of dissolved oxygen in the water from surface to bottom ensure hydrogen sulphide oxygenation.
