Sažetak
Although according to some conclussions the bilingual memory does not exist, fluent bilinguals can sometimes use conceptual representations that are shared across their two languages. The data in the chapter shows that the tightest link in the lexicon is the paradigmatic one but its appearance is significantly dependent on the age of the onset of second language acquisition. The autors tend to argue for the common storage of languages in the bilingual lexicon.
