Sažetak
During this palynological research 23 plant taxa were collected, of which 18 taxa of the Asteraceae family and 5 taxa of the Cichoriaceae family. Pollen analysis were performed under the light microscope and the scanning electron microscope and showed that all taxa of Asteraceae and Cichoriaceae families have trizonocolporate pollen grains. Based on characteristics of pollen grains, representatives of the Asteraceae family were classified in several types: Ambrosia type, Centaurea nigra type, Anthemis type and Aster type, and representatives of the Cichoriaceae family in Cichorium intybus type. Information found can be used as a supplement for the present project ''Palynological Model of the Miocene Deposits in the Central Paratethys'' and for the future project ''Palynological flora of Croatia''.
