Sažetak
Out of 80 taxa of the genus Centaurea L. listed in Index Florae Croaticae subgenus Cyanus (Mill.) Hayek is in the flora of Croatia represented by the following taxa: Centaurea cyanus L., C. mollis Waldst. et Kit., C. montana L., C. tuberosa Vis. and C. triumfetti All. which is along with the common species represented by its subspecies C. triumfetti All. ssp. adscendens (Bart.) Dostál and C. triumfetti All. ssp. stricta (Waldst. et Kit.) Dostál. All above mentioned taxa have wider or more resticted European distribution except widely distributed C. cyanus which is a weed of cornfields throughout the northern temperate region. Species C. mollis is distributed in the central and eastern Europe, C. montana on the mountains of Europe, and the area of distribution of the species C. tuberosa spans montains from Croatia to southern Bulgaria. Species C. triumfetti is with its subspecies distributed in the central and southern Europe. For the mentioned taxa distribution maps in the Croatia based on literature, herbaria data and field observations entered in the Flora Croatica Database 2.7. (FCD) were made and their taxonomical status is commented upon.
