Sažetak
The question as to whether philosophical reason is autonomous, or ultimately dependent on a type of principle that transcends the sphere of our own logico-theoretical activity, forms the central theme of this paper. The fundamental opposition between Schellings conception of a positive philosophy (as developed in his later work from the Ages of the World up to and including his philosophy of revelation ) and F. Baader s demand that philosophy must ultimately be religious (as contained in the ideal of a natural philosophy of Christianity ) forms the historical point of departure for the discussion.
