Sažetak
Standard disgnostic test of turbogenerator rotor windings and the most frequent winding faults are presented. A method for testing the internal winding insulation by application of impulse voltage is described. Its advantages being explained, it is recommended that the Croatian Electricity Utility (HEP) should accept it as the standard test method for all the turbogenerator rotor windings during their manufacturing, commisioning, repair or planned check-ups on site (during overhauls).
