Sažetak
The research Impact of terminal airspace and manoeuvring area on air traffic flow management is dealing with the capacity problems in the terminal airspace as a connecting airspace between aerodrome and en-route airspaces. In the initial phase parameters affecting terminal capacity will be defined and analysed . RamsPlus simulation software will be used to create approximate model of the real Zagreb terminal airspace and also as a tool for solving the capacity problems. The real traffic demand and traffic flows will be simulated to verify the model. Later, the scenario with the enlarged traffic demand will be simulated to see where the critical points are. Also, parameters such as manoeuvring area will be changed in the RamsPlus model to see how capacity and delay are affected. Analysed models should show the impact of capacity and delay on the flows of air traffic in the terminal airspace
