Sažetak
Investigations were carried out by histochemical methods of the presence of glycogen in the placenta and fetal liver of mice from 10 to 20 days of their intrauterine age. The first appearance of glycogen was established on the 12th day of gestation in the placenta and on the 16th day in the fetal liver. On the 18"1 day the content of glycogen decreased in the placenta but increased in the fetal liver. The findings point out that on the 18lh gestation day glycogen metabolism appears to take place in the mouse fetal liver.
