Sažetak
In order to establish control over the noise level, procedures are developed that helicopters have to comply with in particular flight phases, and according to the JAR-36 regulations (Aircraft Noise), systems have been established and noise measurement standards defined at the most critical points of helicopter flight, depending on the type and their maximum take-off weight. In this way, reference points have been stipulated for the noise level measurements for helicopters of different take-off masses in particular flight regimes, as well as the maximum permitted noise intensity above these points. The flight procedures given for take-off, over-flight and landing, and in which the flight route is defined, also have to comply with all the safety requirements (flying over barriers) and have to be certified by the aviation authorities of the State of register or aircraft operator. This paper intends to analyze the phenomenon and type of noise generated by helicopters, its negative impacts on the environment, to explain the flight procedures and operative procedures in take-off, landing and over-flight of helicopter operations in the vicinity and outside airports, as well as the methods of measuring and defining the limits of noise levels in accordance with the JAR regulations.
