Sažetak
The paper deals with the analysis of the influence of Otto and Diesel vehicles exhaust gases emission on fresh air quantity determination in the ventilation systems of road tunnels. The criterion for the determination of fresh air quantity is based on the computer processed numerical procedure, with carbon monoxide (CO) and solid particles (smoke) taken as dominant pollutants. The characteristic cases of the prevalence of each of the above mentioned pollutants are defined as a funstion of the selected key year within the prognosed time period and the chosen structure of trafic (heavy trucks contribution, vehicles with/without catalyst ratio, traffic velocity, ect.). The smoke control by ventilation system during the fire incidents is also considered. As the result of the analysis, more economic and efficient technical solutions for tunnel ventilation systems, as the most demanding systems in terms of power supply, are proposed.
