Sažetak
Intellectual politics of today occurs in a frighteningly mediatized social space and it should not be automatically identified with the politics of intellectual engagement, since there is no clear definition of commitment in a matrix of different social constructions of our “ contemporary” reality. This paper concentrates on various aspects of the politicization of engagement and the clash of different styles and languages of engagement. It also points to the the move from the modern “ law of identity” towards the post-modern “ law of cultural identity” .
