Sažetak
The concept and the design of the hydrostatic transmission experimental setup are given in the paper. The setup is based on the existing internal combustion (IC) engine setup, in order to reduce development time and cost of the new setup. The hydrostatic transmission consists of a variable displacement pump and a variable displacement hydraulic motor. A DC servo-motor serves as a drive for the adjustment of the variable displacement mechanism of the pump. The hydraulic motor variable displacement mechanism is adjusted manually. An IC engine propels the pump, while a permanent magnet AC servo-motor serves as the programmable load for the hydraulic motor. Variety of sensors is applied for the measurement of all necessary values.
