Sažetak
The paper describes the hydro-mechanical transmissions, as the advanced driveline concept in tractors and other agricultural machines. Different variations of hydrostatic transmissions with their characteristics are discussed. The parallel path of hydrostatic and mechanical transmission, or the power-split, is discussed, as well. Some recent trends in tractor hydraulics are briefly given in the paper. The necessity of implementation of advanced control methods for power control, in order to enhance performances, is emphasized.
