Sažetak
This paper describes how geotechnical database can be generated from the information system (IS) of a geo-technical organization in compliance with the ISO 9001, ISO 17025 QMS standards and Eurocode 7. The ap-plication of these principles is illustrated in the example of an organization named Geokon-Zagreb. An over-view of geotechnical data management is given by describing the procedures for data feeding in, maintenance, use, expansion and upgrade. Attached to this paper are pertaining flow charts and a hierarchy of both geo-technical databases and other databases.
