Sažetak
The AIDS morbidity rate in Croatia is o.54 per 100000 children. This number along with the number of all other AIDS cases in Croatia, has remained relatively low owing to the still limited spread of intravenous drug use by mothers, the early initation of AIDS and HIV infection control and prevention campaigns, and the use of transfusion therapy of blood and blood products from non-remunerated voluntary donors subjected to the anti-HIV antibody test.
