Sažetak
Management of tourism destination in general and for rural destinations could become more successful through marketing plans. Therefore in this paper we point out several standpoints of successful management of tourism destination which could be realized by tourism planning. Our hypothesis claims that marketing plans which insists on adapting offer to needs and demands of visitors, putting offers beyond competition, following and using new trends in tourism, along with adequate measures and aims, prices with quality, we can improve destination management efficiency. The hypothesis was confirmed by results of our questioners at the Institute, hotel companies and other similar research.
