Sažetak
The increase of use of digital cameras changed the way that photographs are being developed. Quality is the key term being pronounced in the cycle of a photography reproduction. The quality of photography reproduction used to depend on the quality of photographic films and paper. Today, the quality of reproduction depends on the quality of film scanners or photo camera sensors, and the quality of the printing machine. A research was conducted for the purpose of determining the quality of photography reproduction in different digital photo studios. As different photo studios use different equipment and different substrates, the assumption was that quality of reproduction differs among them. As the market determines prices, they are very similar among different studios. That makes the information of quality achieved in different studios very important. Methods for determining the quality of photography reproduction are described in this paper. The research was conducted in 10 prominent photo studios in the city of Zagreb.
