Sažetak
In this paper the authors explore the importance of innovation cooperation for innovation activity in general and that of Slovenian enterprises. The authors attempt to answer several research questions such as what kind of innovation cooperation is most productive for innovation activity and whether the location and foreign ownership of innovation cooperation matters. They give the underlying reasons for the proliferation of innovation cooperation, review the literature on the determinants of a firms' innovation activity, with particular attention given to innovation cooperation and the determinants of innovation cooperation. They also identify the determinants of the innovation activity of Slovenian firms and explore the effects of innovation cooperation.
