Sažetak
The book presents a research carried out among the displaced persons and refugees on the island of Hvar, from 1993 through 1996, within the framework of the participation project of UNESCO (No.9254-1994). The authors, given their experience in conducting multidisciplinary anthropological investigations - through the combined expertise of medical, socio-cultural and psychodynamic domains - conducted this study with the aim to investigate the problems of those in exile through a long-term cohesive approach that would at the same time be highly applicable to the practitioners, as well as scientifically credible. The book gives a portrayal of several dimensions of living in exile through the analysis of psychological, psychodynamic, socio-cultural and sociological dimensions of the problem.
