Sažetak
The aim was to test the presence of immune copmlexes in the sera of patients with systemic, polyarticular and oligoarticular onset of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in active and inactive stages of disease. Immune complexes were determined by PEG precipitation, Raji cell assay, migration inhibition test and phagocytosis inhibition test. All four tests showed higher proportions of positive results in the patients (regardless the type and stage of the disease) than in controls. There were no different proportions of positive results between the groups of patients. There was no correlation between activity of the disease according to clinical parameters and the presence of immune complexes in juvenile rheumatoid arthritis patients.
