Sažetak
The fine soil sample fraction (-63*m) was analyzed after total dissolution in a mixture of concentrated mineral acids (HF, HCl, HNO3, HClO4) of all samples collected. Partial dissolution in aqua regia (HNO3, HCl) and extraction with CH3COONa buffered at pH=5 was performed only on the topsoil samples sampled at the higher density. The proportions of elements extracted by CH3COONa , as percentage of the total content of the analyzed elements Al, Ba, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sr, Ti, V and Zn varies considerably and is different for each individual element. The content of elements obtained by 1M CH3COONa extraction is usually bellow 10% of the total content of the analyzed elements and represents the fractions of the element that are most mobile. In the case of lead from soils in the NP "Risnjak" area this percentage is as high a 50%.
Through the combination of these analysis and the resulting spatial distributions presented as geochemical maps, it was possible to evaluate a part of the chemistry the fragile environment of the National Park in terms of bedrock chemistry (totally dissolved fraction of elements) and the fraction of elements (AEC fraction) whose infiltration into karstic aquifers is possible as a consequence of acid rain and/or non karstic corrosion.
