Sažetak
The process of banks restructuring has been very intensive in the countries with the developed capital markets in the lasttwo decades, has also taken momentum among the mediterranean countries. The point is the process of mergers and acquisition of the banks and financial institutions or their organizational and functional transformation, which in a deregulated and liberalised environment and general internalization, overflows the national borders and contributes to the global economic integration.
