Sažetak
The activity of alkaline and acid phosphatase, non-specific esterases, 5-nucleotidase, and adenyl cy-clase was histochemically examined in the mouse pla¬ ; centa from the 10th to 20th gravidity days. The acti¬ ; vity of alkaline phosphatase proved to increase in the trophoblast cells up to birth. On about the 14th gra¬ ; vidity day the activity of the enzyme appeared also in the spongiotrophoblast and decidua. The activity of acid phoosphatase reached its maximum in all pla¬ ; cental structures on about the 14th gravidity day, when it gradually decreased but only to increase again in the decidua immediately before birth. The activity of non-specific esterases proved intense in all placental structures up to the 18th gravidity day, after which it gradually went down. The activity of 5-nucleotidase was strong in all placental structures, becoming ever stronger with the progression of gra¬ ; vidity. The activity of adenyl cyclase gradually incre¬ ; ased in the trophoblast cells and the blood vessel wall as gravidity advanced, showing a marked in¬ ; crease before birth.
