Sažetak
The author gives a detailed description of the research background of the three year (1993 to 1995) project -"The Study and Care of Refugee Families A Pilot Study of Anthropological and Psychodynamic Aspects" - conducted by a Croatian anthropological team (Institute for Anthropological Research, Zagreb). Furthermore, she provides an analysis of the problems of the study of forced migration on the basis of her own diary entries kept during the field work. The importance of this paper lies in the possible benefits one could gain while comparing his own observations made on a field work, and possibly engaging in a similar process of self-analysis (to the benefit of his interviewees in exile).
