Sažetak
The paper presents cultural-anthropological interpretation of urban processes through which newly built Zagreb neighborhoods in the second half of the 20th century have developed the framework for local symbolic identification. The use of qualitative methodology allows lived, symbolic and phenomenological experiences of the city to come to the fore negotiating dominant architectural, ideological and sociological notions of the city.
