Sažetak
Fast development of telecommunication technologies in the last two decades has completely changed the method of operation in many fields including the scientific field of traffic and transport technology. Telecommunication technologies accelerate today greatly the development, and the convergence of networks and services gives strong impetus to the development of intelligent transport systems (ITS). By applying the scientific method of survey and method of description, the level of readiness of telecommunication operators to introduce ITS services has been estimated. The survey was carried out at the telecommunication operator, Iskon Internet Co. that is a specialized telecommunication operator, provider of telecommunication services.
