Sažetak
Stresses and displacements in relatively short thin-walled beams clamped at both ends and subjected to bending by uniform loads are analysed. Approximate solutions to the theory of elasticity are compared to the results of the finite element method. The problem of the clamped end is discussed in the context of these two approches, the analytical and numerical approches
