Sažetak
This paper describes and discusses student activity when automatic evaluation of programming assignments is concerned. An existing implementation of automatic evaluation of programming assignments within the proprietary learning management system called AHyCo is described. Since this system is used to evaluate homework assignments in two programming – based pre-graduate courses, the vast amount of student-related data is being generated. It is our belief that this data can be analysed to get valuable information on student activity and behaviour therefore enabling teaching personnel not only to fine-tune technical segments of the system but to get know students and their habits better and to improve the teaching process in whole.
