Sažetak
To say that the past 10 years has been a tumultuous decade for South East Europe is an understatement. This region of the world experienced catastrofic wars, massive political upheavals, sweeping social changes and extreme and damaging economic turbulence. The region is now focused on identifying and developing resources that can create competitive advantages to bring the region to a global level of prosperity and a meaningfully improved quality of life. With this in mind, a group of scholars and practitioners from the region and from aruond the world came together in June, 1998. to discuss the issues surrounding the development of market-based resources for the region. The scholars andand practitioners from the symposium were given the task of writing a series of papers that captured their ideas and placed those ideas within the context of market-based resource development strategies. This book is the product of those papers.
