Sažetak
Foucault writes (in Kritzman, 1988, p. 30): 'How is it that the human subject took itself as the object of possible knowledge? Through what forms of rationality and historical conditions? And … at what price can subjects speak the truth about themselves? … how does the subject speak the truth about itself … 'And argues that it is possible through: '… an analysis of the relation between forms of reflexivity - a relation of self to self - and, hence, of relations between forms of reflexivity and the discourse of truth, forms of rationality and effects of knowledge. 'The TEMPUS project has stemmed from the above thinking. That is: 'A top-down strategy can make me do things but cannot make me question my values and beliefs about teaching. I have to reach the stage of raising awareness that what I am doing in my classroom is not necessarily what I think I am doing. 'In this first presentation, I will outline and discuss the educational philosophy and principles that underpin the project and how we are attempting to ensure that the new policies and practice are manifest in such principles.
