Sažetak
This paper describes experiments performed to examine the effect of two different drying methods on sized yarn characteristics. Analysis of physical-mechanical properties of sized yarn has been carried out after convection and contact drying. Differences in yarn properties, previously sized under the different squeeze roll pressure, have been determined. Properties of: breaking force, elongation at break, abrasion resistance and yarn hairiness, have been determined after two different drying processes. The effect of drying methods proved to have no significant influence on sized yarn characteristics
