Sažetak
The research study was carried out in "Dubravica" a large scale swine farm near by Zaprešić. The necropsy of dead fattening swines was conducted during in the period of investigation. The results of pathomorphologicaly examination of dead carcasses during the investigation period was established the structure of the mortality rate. The mortality rate of 279 or 32.69% fatteners was recorded for gastrointestinal syndrome ; 111 or 13% for myocardial faillure ; 123 04 14.4% for pneumonia ; 31 or 3.6% for septic condition ; 25 or 2.9% for gastric ulcer ; 11 or 1.3% for hepatitis ; and 10 or 4.26% were dead from others causes. During the production phase were eliminated 44carcasses in different ages ; from fracture of bone , canibalism and other according very different pathological causes. The distribution of losses during the ecconomic year reveal a great influence of the season and climate on the most ccmmon causes of dead (the gastrointestinal syndrome, myocardial faillure and sepsis). However, the season did not have any influence on the incidence of losses causses by other reasons such as: pneumonuia, polyserositis, gastric ulcerations, canibalism etc), eithe regarding the rate nor the structure. The aim of this research was to study different risk groups of currant pathology and control of losses.
