Sažetak
A full-wave analysis of frequency selective surfaces (FSS) composed of circular ring elements embedded in a multilayer conformal supporting structure is presented. Element-by-element approach used to analyse very large arrays with a large number of elements is quite inefficient, and so a new analysis algorithm is proposed. The idea is to modify the element-by-element approach by splitting the array into overlapping subarrays which are analysed sequentially. Results for the reflection and transmission of the whole curved FSS are then obtained by superposition of the sequential subarray results. A number of other techniques are also applied in order to speed up the analysis of such a large system.
