Sažetak
The diversities of teachers’ education and curricula of studies that exist in Europe, give rise to the question how to harmonize it in the way, which should incorporate national differences and ensure the quality of education, all in concordance with the Bologna Declaration. The papers emphasizes that the implementation of modern curricula should not be possible without the introduction of modern teaching technology and technological contents in the teachers education. The paper analyses the pedagogical aspects of teachers’ education taking into consideration the statement that the preparation of teachers for daily life and the reality of a new united Europe is based on the defining, instituting and development of a new model of the education of teachers – European education. The author develops a new education paradigm of modern curriculum as a possible education pattern for the implementation of a new knowledge of digital media in the curriculum of teachers’ education. The planning of choices and the structuring of media in the process of teaching and learning lead to changes in the role of the teacher. Therefore, the paper includes the analysis of students’ opinions about realization of Bologna Process, ICT skills and the use of technology in the education of Croatian teachers.
