Sažetak
The book is the outcome of a conference on the War in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina 1991-1995, held in Budapest from 25 to 27 September 1998 under the auspices of the Bosnian Institute in London and the Institute for Southeastern Europe, part of the Central European University in Budapest. One group of contributions consists of testimonies and analyses by direct and active Bosnian and Croatian participants in military and political decision-making processes in the early 1990's (Stjepan Mesić, Dušan Bilandžić, Martin Špegelj, Anton Tus, Rusmir Mahmutćehajić and Jovan Divjak). The other group is made of scientific papers grounded in the angle and the methodology of sociology of war, military theory, international law and political science (Ozren Žunec, Marko Attila Hoare, Norman Cigar, Paul Williams and Warren Switzer). Added is the Chronology 1985-1995 (Appendix, pp. 346-376). Foreword by Noel Malcolm (pp. xvii-xx). Introduction by Norman Cigar - Branka Magaš - Ivo Žanić (pp. xxi-xxxi). Nine original maps in colour are provided.
