Sažetak
We are all witnesses of the major increase in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network usage, so Quality of Service (QoS) is more and more important for the success of this type of real- time applications. Today?s switches have the capability to differentiate frames based on class of service settings. If multiple queues are present, frames can be placed in different queues. This allows each queue to have different service levels, and therefore successfully implement quality of service. In this paper we give notifications and results of measurement we conducted on live network traffic using congestion management mechanisms.
